As a follow-up from Sunrays, I painted this piece to further enhance my understanding of the painting style that felt most natural to me. I again started with more blending but ended up layering over that with more solid strokes of colour to create the effect that you now see. This piece almost appears as though you’re seeing the sun across the surface of water.
