About

Who am I?

Miki J. Wright is a 19 year old Australian artist and design student. She has lived on the Sunshine Coast her whole life and currently studies her Bachelor of Design at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Growing up, she always had a passion for art, which was her favourite subject in school, and she took multiple after-school art classes in her primary school years. Her passion for art has also come from her dad, who was a bit of an artist himself back in his high school years.

Miki’s Christian faith is also often evident throughout her work in the way she draws and paints many subjects from God’s creation ranging from skies to flowers. Biblical themes can also be noticed from time to time within her pieces as a bold expression of her faith in a world that seemingly grows evermore hostile towards her faith and her God.

For Miki, art has also been a way for her to express herself and cope with the various mental struggles that come with living in the 21st century.
